Born in 1969, Tomoo Gokita is not only a successful artist, but is also active in the fashion and music industries. In the early 2000s he began to gain popularity overseas. Rather than drawing influence from Japanese “Kawaii Culture” and “Otaku Culture”, he has created artworks using his own unique worldview, for which he has received a lot of attention, both in Japan and internationally.
